These adorable bunny baby booties were a lot of fun to make. Pretty easy too. I have been making these for new babies for over 15 years now. Family and friends have come to expect to receive a pair with the birth of each baby. So I have made lots of them, and in fact usually try to have several pair pre-maid and ready. But this time I had run out and had to whip up a pair. They are always a big hit! These lil cuties are going to belong to a brand new baby boy to be born sometime in February, to a co-worker of my daughter Amber. I have also made a small baby quilt from scraps of flannel. The photos of that didn't come out so well and I will have to retake them and post that later. The bunny booties are sitting on the back side of that little quilt. The booties are made of micro white fleece for the outside and flannel for the inside. I have also used other soft fabrics, like Terri or velour. Sometimes I use ribbon for the ties, however this time I choose to use the flannel instead. I hope you like them. They are pretty easy and can be made to fit toddler and children sizes. I am thinking about making enough to sell. I make all kinds of things but they are always gifts-I never sell them. I may change that with the recent urging of family and friends? I will take photos of some of my other sewing projects that I still have around and post them sometime. The camera I have to use doesn't take the best photos.
Thanks for visiting my blog!!!
